Born and raised in Atlanta, GA.; Jori is an extremely gifted singer and songwriter who is very comfortable in the recording studio.

Performing since the age of 9 she has always loved music. As a child her passion for reading quickly progressed to writing poems, which later developed into writing songs. She also learned the fundamentals of music such as basic breathing techniques and site reading.

After graduating from high school Jori continued to work hard to develop her craft. She’s received extensive vocal training under the guidance of the phenomenal Robin Brown who has coached other great artists such as Beyonce, Usher, and Monica.

Jori is a four-time winner of the Steve Harvey Morning Show “New Star Project” and was the 1st runner-up in Atlanta for the 2011 Myspace Budweiser Superfest opening act contest. She’s worked with great producers such as Grammy Award winner Anthony Dent, J. Valentine, and R&B singer/songwriter Tank. Jori has performed at various events such as Wednesday Wind Down, The Steve Harvey Morning Show, 102.5 Gospel Jazz Live, Acoustix Jazz Lounge, Apache Café’, Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint, Women Who Jam, Mingles Bar & Grill, 255 Tapas Lounge, Café 290, Kat’s Café, and Pappadeaux just to name a few. Jori has also done some local theatre where she portrayed the Virgin Mary in the musical “The Promised One”, and Cleopatra in “The Last Potluck”.

She has also been featured in several online magazines and web blogs including “”, StreetMuzikRadio”, “”,”The Conversation” with Klarque Garrison and “PulseTheMagazine”. She is the president and an active member of the Youth Choir, and New Generations Choir at her church. She is also a member of the Collegiate 100; a part of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta. Jori performed in BET’s Music Matters Showcase in New York, The BB&T Atlanta Open Tennis Tournament, and was the first winner of The Atlanta Dream Basketball team National Anthem contest.Recently Jori received her Associate Degree in Audio Production and is currently seeking her Bachelors Degree in Marketing. She has also recorded with Grammy nominated Multi- Platinum producer and songwriter Cainon Lamb who has produced several Billboard Hits such as “Let It Go”/ Keyshia Cole, “Need U Bad” & “Holdin U Down”/ Jazmine Sullivan, “Everything to me”/ Monica, “You Don’t Know My Name”/Alicia Keys & “Countdown/Beyonce. Because of her love to perform live music Jori is in the process of fine-tuning a phenomenal band.
