Hats Off Gentlemen It’s Adequate are Malcolm Galloway, on his own, or with his colleagues Kathryn Thomas (flute), Mark Gatland (bass), Rudy Burrell (drums) and Ibon Bilboa (guitar). They are based in London, UK.

Their music combines classic rock, prog rock, acoustic, blues, metal, folk, funk, minimalism, and electronica.

Their songs so far have been about invisible disabilities, artificial intelligence, and stuff like that.

Hats Off Gentlemen It’s Adequate regularly play at the Fiddler’s Elbow and have performed at other leading London music venues, including Nambucca, Water Rats, Camden Rock, The Vibe Bar, The Comedy, and The Bowery/Ballyhoo. They have also played at festivals, and street parties.

Hats Off Gentlemen It’s Adequate regularly put on charity gigs, and have recently put on fundraising events for Save The Children, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Ehlers-Danlos Support UK, and Brain Tumour UK.
